CIVIS Media Prize 2025

The CIVIS Media Foundation set up several committees for the 2025 competition in the various award categories: Selection committees chose a small selection of particularly outstanding entries. Juries then decided on the nominees and award winners. A total of 50 highly experienced experts, mainly from the media, science and culture, were involved.

In 2025, more than 700 entries were submitted from all EU member states and Switzerland. All selection committees and juries spent several days from morning to evening viewing, listening to and discussing entries. The nominated entries were selected according to strict technical criteria and high journalistic and artistic standards.
