Overcrowded asylum accommodations, traumatised people, overburdened authorities. How do Hessian cities and communities deal with refugees: Pfungstadt, for example. Two years ago, there were almost 100 refugees in the town of 25,000 inhabitants. In the meanwhile, there are four times as many. It was impossible to accommodate the people in a decentralised location, so that no ghettos would form. Pfungstadt now has three large residential homes, each with over one hundred beds. For some residents, this causes fears and concerns. How can the town and the refugees encounter?
