In 2007, social worker Jenny Rasche accompanies the German humanitarian transport to SibiuHermannstadt in Rumania. In the outskirts, she discovers 20 Roma families, crammed together in slum. She wants to help and founds a charity organisation at home in the Harz and moves to Rumania with her family shortly thereafter. She takes the children out of the slum and sends them to a special class for Roma children that she has founded. A day centre is also established. After nearly eight years of intensive work, success becomes visible.
