Commitment for refugees. The Burscheider Ballverein football club approaches refugees and invites them to join in a game of football. Football is a language that is spoken internationally. In Burscheid the refugee camp is almost right alongside the football pitch. What could be more natural than to invite the refugees to play with them. The club’s officials make contact with the refugees and take a few young men onto the pitch. A Syrian turns out to be a doctor and physiotherapist: He offers to look after the players from now on.
