Life on the wrong side of the law. A native of Senegal, Samba has no residence permit and must correspondingly be very careful. He manages to survive with small parttime jobs. In order to start work in his dream job as a chef, he contacts the authorities. They immediately put him in detention pending deportation. There he meets Alice. She quickly looses her distance to Samba.
