Integration as a school subject. Special courses are planned to help immigrants, not only to learn the German language, but also how to behave in Germany. You do not give an official from the Aliens Registration Office any chocolates and if you have an appointment you must appear “right on time”, because “time is money”. The documentary follows migrants from 15 different nations and shows their efforts to be accepted. Everyday experiences are confronted with the image which Germany provides of itself in the teaching materials.
