An average residential area in the Ruhr. An area under the thumb of right-wing extremists. So-called autonomous nationalists are on the march; they hang around on the streets and instil fear into the hearts of the citizens. Now the threats have a new quality – the neo-Nazis begin to terrorise Barbara Engelhardt and her family. They smash a window in their house and destroy the family car. But why? Because the Engelhardts decided to do something about the neo-Nazis. They feel let down by the local police and politicians.
